I bought this skirt a while ago and haven’t gotten much wear out of it because it simply isn’t as mini as I thought it would be. On me (I’m like 5’3), this “mini” skirt hits mid thigh. That’s just not what I wanted. After reviewing pictures and videos that Kendall posted of this skirt, it just didn’t look quite the same in person. For example, the safety shorts were longer than expected - not necessarily a bad thing, but something I noticed. I also find it difficult to get the pleats to go back the way they’re supposed to after washing. I anticipated this to be a thicker material that is sew to preserve the pleats, whereas it’s a pretty thin material that you have to manually move back into the pleated shape to make it look right. It also wrinkles quite easily. I was imagining this to be more like the material of the American Apparel skater skirts, and it’s definitely not that. It’s cute, just wasn’t what I was hoping it would be for $90.
